I know people are upset but I keep in mind this was their first time orginzing the convention. A few people had to handle about 2,500 people, honestly I can't blame them and give them props for
doing such a huge event for us.
Plus, waayyy back Bailey stated they weren't making a profit off of all the money we paid...All that money was going towards the convention and everything, all for us.
I can do maths, and i have had experience in the industry and know how much things cost... this is bullocks. The only way they could come out of this without making money is if they are morons and paid WAYYYY to much for things. It just saddens me how many people have such negative responses to how twicon has gone and can't just think about all the awesome parts. Take the bad and turn it into good, the orginizers tried their very best to handle all of us crazy fans and do what they could.
its great that some people managed to make the best out of a bad situation, its what you have to do in a situation like that. But people shouldnt have had to try so hard to have a good time around all the bad crap. Stuff always goes wrong at events, its the nature of the business, a good event management team makes sure that these things have minimal impact on the atendees.sunray16 wrote: And I know that the price is high, but a lot of work goes into an event like this and I can't even imagine how much it costs to get all that talent here. Does any other convention have that many actors in attendance?
